Buyer filed false not as described case. Item returned was damaged and partial refund was issued (-20%). Ebay blocked buyer from money back. Case closed. Buyer opened chargeback. This is my first chargeback and have no clue what to do. Ebay sent me link to either refund or dispute. When I hit dispute I am being asked to upload 1 picture of small size . What can I prove in 1 picture. Reason shown in Ebay: buyer didn’t receive refund. What do I upload? What can I fit on 1 picture? Ebay is clueless and unhelpful. I have about 10 messages with buyer, pictures buyer sent, screenshots of external website that prove buyer is a fraud, refund details. I am clueless..can anyone help and give some advice?

When you play in the eBay fantasyland believing you can withhold up to 50% of the refund, you'll quickly trip and fall on you face. A buyer has multiple ways to retrieve the remainder of their refund; you'll end up refunding in full, forfeit selling and payment fees, pay a $20 chargeback settlement bounty, and earn the coveted case closed without seller intelligence award.
The upload one photo to challenge the payment dispute is an eBay fabrication: Neither Adyen nor PayPal, eBay's only two upstreams, are looking for a photo. For INR and UA, they want a tracking number; for SNAD and Credit not processed, there is no rejoinder.
You'll either voluntarily refund, or eBay will refund for you to protect the eBay account at Adyen or PayPal, plus a $20 surcharge.

Thanks for clarification. I didn’t say 50%. If that will turn true , I have no choice but file complaints with government (FTC, AG, CFPB). I am not sure if fraud is accepted whether it is buyer, processor, cc or ... i would be content if Ebay refunded from their own funds.
