I have tried to update numerous times since being notified of eBay dropping PayPal & I get an error that - “Something went wrong. Please try again later” Why won’t it let me update?

Common issues involve making sure your eBay account type matches your checking account type (personal account vs. business account), making sure your name is spelled exactly the same on both accounts including any middle name or initial, and making sure you are using the correct routing number for your checking account. I believe that you may need to use a street address rather than a P O Box as well.

Thank you for the suggestions. I went back in and removed the PO Box address and filled in physical address only but it still won’t advance past the address screen. I think I may have to call in. I’m going to try using a laptop computer vs cell phone platform but I doubt that will make a difference. I have three sisters that already successfully changed from PayPal using their phones.

Check your actual account profile information using your laptop browser; I believe the information on the form you are filling out has to line up with the name and address in your account profile.
