Howdy, all -- I had a fellow do a "Best Offer", then asked to lower the price by $5 after he committed to a sale of $105, then told me "De woman don't want de phone" or something weird like that. I was selling a mobile phone and he apparently is from Belize using one of those Miami-based drop-shipper-type addresses to fake as if he was from the US, I think. Anyway, I waited the requisite four days, cancelled for non-payment in the Resolution Center, and as far as it appears, i get a screen with a green checkmark that says "Cancellation Complete." marking the reason as "Buyer hasn't paid." .. But I'm not told anything further. Soooo... that's the end of it? Did the buyer get an "unpaid strike?" .. There's no way to tell what on earth happened, or if there was a point for me to wait these four (actually six) days to cancel this item. Why is Ebay so vague / cryptic about this stuff??
Thanks for anyone's wisdom on this.. 😉
