Can't list "Email address cannot be used for PayPal payments at this time."

I can't list because I get the error message "Email address cannot be used for PayPal payments at this time."

I've checked and my Paypal account is in good standing. There are no open issued to be resolved. I even responded to Paypal's seller tax ID query some time ago (these are all things help sections have previously identified as root causes for this error but are NOT the case for me.)

I Have the same problem! Email address cannot be used for PayPal payments at this time. Why?... My account on Paypal have since on 2012 Thanks!

If eBay has required you to sign up for Managed Payments, eBay will no longer use PayPal to pay you for sold items; you must register a checking account with eBay for receiving payment.

Ebay is eliminating paypal as a payment option for sellers, you need to sign up for managed payments.   I see you already admitted to giving your SS# to paypal, so you won't have an issue giving it to ebay when they ask you for it.

Suggest checking your messages from eBay also the email address you have attached to your eBay account to see if you missed a message about signing up for Managed Payment.
