I thought One will be able to sell vehicle parts but not vehicles. After enrolling to eBay MP and listing a automobile part in the preferences section I get
“pleas provide:payment method”
after clicking to select a payment method I don’t get the EBay MP option I only get money order/cashiers check & personal check this is only when listing any auto part any other item not related to automobiles I do get the eBay MP option any one having this problem? Thanks

well as you have found out anything in automotive is saying you are selling auto.....
I have no advice to give you on this. MP is blocked with anything automotive it seems.
You could start a new account to sell such under but all users will be switched to MP and this and the other restricted areas are a problem to the sellers.
Of course no answers from eBay on this but the "soon: response:
Soon meaning the same thing in free energy; as MP which may mean" NEVER".

@mayra_3612 - which specific category are you trying to list in?
There are auto parts sellers active in MP, so I have to think there is something else going on here.
It might be specific to the sub-category you are trying to use or it could be a glitch. More info is needed.

While the majority of people using eBay would not be looking for auto parts, that still would be a large segment of sellers that would be affected by not being able to sell auto parts. Would this effect all of eBay Motors I wonder? That includes me.

@redmodelt - I personally know of several sellers in different Motors categories (auto parts & accessories, boat parts, automotive tools & supplies, etc) that have all been active in MP for months and are successfully listing and selling daily in those categories.
I do not believe it is time to panic - there is very likely some other information we are missing from the OP that could help figure out why they are having an issue here.

Great to hear that. I must be doing something wrong

@mayra_3612 - I see you have 8 currently active listings in Parts & Accessories or Automotive Tools & Supplies, and they have the G Pay logo under payments so those listings would be paid through Managed Payments.
Maybe look at how you have those listings set up under payments or do a "seller similiar" from one of those listings? Are you trying to list in a different category than those currently active listings?

Look in approved catagories.
Payment methods policy

Great to hear those 8 items are active and under managed payments thanks 🙏 . But now why when I try to revise those 8 items I get the same warning? “Pleas provide:payment method”

Thanks, those screenshots are helpful. I'm going to guess this is just an issue specific to trying to list through the mobile app. I just did a test trying to do a listing in the Parts & Accessories category from my phone and can confirm it is only showing
Pay on Pickup
Money Order/Cashier's Check
Personal Check
But non-motors categories show the managed payments option.
Listing on desktop instead of a mobile device does not have this issue for me. Can you try listing on a desktop and see if you have the same problem?
brian@ebay tyler@ebay are there any known issues with payment options when listing through the mobile app in the Motors categories?

@mayra_3612 - that's interesting that trying to revise them presents the same issue. Were those listings originally created through the mobile app or on a desktop or other device?
I tagged a couple of eBay employees in my previous post, hopefully one of them can confirm if this is a known issue with the app and/or get it reported to the right team if so.

Please try this in a different category you have some thing in auto listed in and see if it asks for the same:
Do not list it there of course.
this is to see what is triggering the bots.
It may be the title that is triggering the bots, or the category. that is what you will need to find out.
