Can't Update My Payment Method

I just set up a new business bank account.  I changed my info on Poshmark and Mercari with no issue.  When I try to add the bank to ebay so that I can remove the old one, I get all the way to the confirm bank details screen and then I get an error, "Unable to save bank account information. We ran into a problem, please try again."

I've tried on my phone, my iPad, and my desktop, same issue.  All information has been confirmed and verified but I can't get it to submit.  I tried customer support via chat (says 1 min wait but I"ve been waiting over 30 mins) and I did the callback option (said 1 min wait, no one ever called.)

I'd appreciate any assistance on next steps.  Thanks so much.

The next step is the same, request a call back everyday until you get one. Their hours are from 5am to 6pm Pacific time. Call early, otherwise you'll be waiting until the next day. Read that they are cutting off call backs for the day at 9:30am.

I've been having a bizarre problem since restarting my eBay sales six weeks ago with similar situation and have tried to reach out to eBay several times. SIX WEEKS!!!  I am so ready to go to FTC and complain and now seeing so many complaints re: failed customer service responses, maybe I need to! The "Unpaid balance" message refers to a balance that is more than 18 months old (I searched) and for $5 and change. When I go to update the payment method, I get the attached error message. Seems no one is listening or interested in helping. And I cannot ship via USPS through eBay it will not take the payment even though I have it set to pull from Paypal and have a hefty balance there. ARGH!!! Interestingly, I can ship via Fedex through eBay.

In case this can help you or others: I'd been having a similar problem for weeks where I can't update my seller account fees payment method, because when I try to click "Save" I get a popup with an address that starts with "https://pmtapp.ebay/" and it fails to load.  The Chrome window says:

This site can’t be reached

Check if there is a typo in pmtapp.ebay.

The URL wasn't editable in this window, so I tried just copying the entire URL and pasting it into a new window.  Then I added the missing ".com" after "ebay" and it worked!
