@topchoice-4u,

The screenshot shows that you are in Australia, so why are you trying to register as a business in the United States?

If you are in the United States, then you have to pay income taxes to the USA on your income. In order to do that,  you have to have an SSN (for USA citizens and permanent residents only) or an ITIN (for people who don't qualify for an SSN but who have permission to live and work in the USA anyway).

If you are in Australia, then you need to register your eBay selling account on eBay Australia, not on eBay.com, because you will have to pay taxes to Australia. Then, you will have to provide whatever information is customary in Australia for tax identification.

You need to register your eBay account on eBay Australia: www.ebay.com.au . Unfortunately, if you have already tried to register on eBay USA, you may have created a managed payments account for this ID on eBay USA. Once you have done that, you can't change the country (because of the different tax liability requirements). So if you can't register on eBay Australia, you may need to create a new user ID on eBay Australia and use that one instead.
