I recently puchased something with my credit card via Google Pay and didn't check the full description of the item before purchasing it. In the product description, the seller noted that

that they "only accept PayPal" since they use that to verify the address to ship it to, but under the actual purchase buttons it says multiple types of payments are accepted.

I was charged the full amount on my credit card but I noticed that it hasn't still shipped out yet. I also tried contacting the seller to see if it was still okay through Ebays messaging system but they haven't responded.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, I'm still new to this and the only thing I found online that was similar to this problem was archived on this site. What should I do?

You are ok then..a seller cannot specify which payment he accepts...all are acceptable.

You need to ALWAYS read the entire description and check the seller's feedback and location before buying. There is a very good chance that your seller does not speak or understand English well. You have NO choice but to wait until the latest estimated arrival date before you can open a case. You can find that date by looking under your PURCHASE history.

I have seen many sellers that did not update their listings and will say PAYPAL ONLY. Anyway, you can use Paypal . ALL payments go to the ebay Managed payments systems, ebay take's their cut , takes out any sales tax and the rest goes to the seller. Your seller got the payment if you paid through Ebay. Now sit back and wait and wait. Shipping from China can take 1-2 months.

Don't contact the seller. You paid. The order details tells the seller you paid and the status is awaiting shipment. I don't know how many handling days the seller has but soon it should show shipped. If the seller doesn't ship it you can file a not received claim after the latest expected delivery date.
