Someone else from SL asked an identical question word for word except they said for new people  instead of for new person.

What benefits or perks are you talking about?

Sometimes eBay offers new members a promotional credit or discount on your first listings to entice you to sell. Or to start back selling.

Is that what you're talking about?  Otherwise new sellers have no advantage over established sellers.

Actually, if you give this some thought, there are no benefits to being a new user.

New users, both buyers and sellers, on eBay will have certain limitations in how much they can buy or sell when starting out.  The purpose of these limits is to protect the new kids from making major errors that could cause them to lose money or merchandise.
