Account Restricted due to eBay blunder

eBay put my "funds on hold" until I provide my paperz, which I did, both state issued driver's license and my bank statement. Now they send me another automated mail saying the name's didn't match!

They're the EXACT SAME NAMES!  Meanwhile, THEY STILL HAVE MY MONEY! 💸💸💰

Anyway, I'm tired of the piddling **bleep** and the new fees they steal from me. 

thankfully there are so many much better websites to sell from. I get ten times the sales on the site in my title.  So it's adios eBay can't wait to see you go the way of myspace and friendster

I realize this is a moot point for you, since you are departing, but to be clear for others who might be reading this, the names must match each other and the name your ebay ID is registered with. So if the first two have a middle initial but ebay name doesn't, that would be a problem.

Same exact names with out initals: same address all in the correct case.. etc...

it don't mach with one letter, number etc. : they will kick it...

When contacting ebay ask for a payment specialist: normal CS reps can do nothing for you...

I can never understand these people who call company fees stealing....do they walk into a restaurant and scream that the establishment is stealing from them when the check arrives- for the meal they just devoured? SMDH....

Yes they will charge you for them: and if you dont ship refund the buyers....

The money you are owed will eventually end up with he state treasury department of the state you register in.

Dont cut you own neck leaving eBay> not worth it to burn your bridges...

No. it's not that. I accept the fees as the cost of doing business, BUT when eBay says, if you don't renew your store we charge you a non-renewal fee, that's stealing. When eBay puts the money you earned in limbo b/c their robotic verification says your paperwork does not match, that's stealing. So stop SYDH I can hear your brain rattling. 🤣 Reading is FUNdamental. mmkay?

Good advice. Thank you. I have always put my customer service as a top priority. I just can not abide by eBay's nitpicking, absentee micro-management any more.

Or else nothing.

You will have sales and be unable to collect your payments.

Also, ebay does not steal fees from you, you agree to pay them by having an account.

You suggest to others what you haven't done yourself, especially since you say that your other site sells 10x the volume. I would be deleting all my listed items and move them to the other site. Is ebay preventing you from deleting your current  listings?

I understand your frustration but I get the feeling you are not going anywhere, or else you wouldn't be here.

When you signed up for a store package you agreed to that stipulation upon your subscription ending, so it's not stealing, you didn't read what you signed. Your money is being held until you rectify the issue, not in limbo and also not stealing, mmkay....

Yep. I had to change the name on my eBay account because my bank account has my middle initial but my eBay account initially did not. There were zero problems once I did that. It's an incredibly easy fix that took under 30 seconds to do.
