Help with revising my listed items

I am new to selling on ebay and after 2 months did not sell one item yet! I would like someone with expertise to revise my listings/wording and tell me what to change to start selling. I did get a shop is that good? I did not see any difference. I know it takes time but 2 months is long...How can I check if my listings appear in all countries? How can I promote my listings and advertise on Instagram where I have a page for my items? Thank you I am willing to pay for the service.

Re: Help with revising my listed items

Your items look like they are being drop-shipped.

New sellers should not be spending the extra money to have a store because the usual added perks of having one cannot be utilized due to the listing limitations that eBay imposes on a new seller.

It would have been a good idea for you to do some buying on eBay before starting to sell.  That way, you get a better picture of how eBay works.

Re: Help with revising my listed items

Your items are very pretty. But, I see that you are trying to sell blankets for 135 or 220 or 230 plus shipping, which is very expensive. Even thought they are unique and pretty, you should check to see what unbranded blankets actually sell for, not what they list for on eBay.

In addition, you only list sizes in cm. I converted one of your blankets to feet and inches. It was about 5 ft by 4ft. That is very tiny for $135. To appeal to all countries, you should list in feet and inches in addition to cm.

Also, your beaded figurines are priced much, much higher than other beaded figurines show on eBay listings.

Good luck.

Re: Help with revising my listed items

Your prices seem too high for eBay. If you can't sell cheaper, then I think you're going to have low sales. Perhaps run a sale to get your prices down a little, plus I think when you run a sale, it helps in search. You can do incognito search and check your shop out, that'll tell you a lot. Good luck.

Thank you!!! How do I run a sale on ebay? What do you mean by search and check my shop out? How do I do this? Sorry for all the questions but I need some help...

Take your own photos.

The beaded figures, the photos are terrible.

Make sure all your photos match what you're selling.

You have a throw blanket listed, but one of the photos is a lady wearing a yellow dress which has nothing to do with the blanket.

Have a great day.

Re: Help with revising my listed items

If you're working on a laptop or computer, you should have three little dots up in the right hand corner. Hit those and see if there is an incognito link. If not, just type in incognito and it will give you a list, do the one that says it's private viewing or incognito viewing. The go to ebay and then to your store and it'll let you see it as a buyer would. As for running a sale, you go to marketing, then over on the right it should say markdown sale. Go there and just play around with it and you'll figure it out, go below the graph lines and it'll say sale event + markdown...that's where you'll have to play to get it. You can markdown any amount you want, I usually do 20%. But you can go as low as you want. You can also have all your things on promoted listings, that doesn't cost you until you sell something, and you also set the amount you want to pay for the promotion. It takes a while to get it all, and the only way to do that is to just play with everything until you figure it out...you aren't going to break anything, so don't be afraid. Figuring it out also helps you remember it. I still don't remember anything and I have to play too. Good luck. I would think you have enough of a markup that you can do both sales and promotion.

Re: Help with revising my listed items

I just realized there is also another way to reach incognito. Alt + Ctrl + N   That should bring it up. Take care.

Unfortunately promotions are no longer allowed for new sellers. Thank you for all your tips!

Re: Help with revising my listed items

I did offer a 20% discount on all items. But can I give a 20% discount and a special price for volume at the same time? Thank you! Any idea how to promote my items? Thank you.
