Danger be aware the posts of cars on marketplace I had three different cars that were a scam, NEVER PAY WITH A GIFT CARD. I received a scam invoice that appeared legit but it was not real!!!! Toyota Highlander, Toyota Camry, Nissan maxima IF ITS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE IT IS!,,,, Roberta Kraft is made up no one’s son was killed in a bike accident ALL FALSE AND THEY WILL NEVER STOP, DONT BE A VICTIM

These boards are full of posts like this.  We've all tried to advise people NOT to get involved in transactions that start on facebook or craigslist with promises of "ebay will handle the sale and delivery".   It's a scam that has been going on for years.  Once they have your gift cards, you're screwed.  You'll never see your money or the vehicle, because there never was one... I've lost count of the people posting here too late to help them.

You don't shop elsewhere and expect eBay to be involved.  Why would you buy something on FB Marketplace and expect the transaction to go through eBay?

You don't pay with eBay gift cards for anything not listed for sale actually on eBay.

What kind of idiot seller ships a valuable vehicle to a total stranger at his own expense for a "trial period"?

Use some common sense.
