Due to a national shortage, Federal Branded tires have been marked up to the point where one seller has a listing for two tires for $1000.00 (Listing# 153652438102) I haven't noticed any other brands being price gouged this much. What do you think?

I do not think that tires fall under "price gouging"
Federal Branded tire are not "essential items".
Supply & demand dictates prices on items.
Perhaps that seller is OOS, and just using a "nobody would pay this price" as a place holder to keep the listing active.
You could offer whatever price you feel is "reasonable".

If they sell will tell you what you what to know.
I can put a penny for a million, does not mean that is what it is worth, or even get paid for it if some one clicks to purchase it.... That is my opinion of the mess.

To be sure, when the air blows hot - your whole system is shot. To fix it, you will be ripped off and charged a lot.

I think that there exists places other than eBay where one can buy them starting at under $50.00. Google will show you the way.

There are a lot of listings where Federal tires are $99,999.00.
I have a rule that has served me well for over six decades: If the price is more than I want to pay, I don't buy it.

Hard to argue with that one!

Not with a national shortage! If it was that easy I wouldn't have been looking at them on eBay man
