Last week I discovered that I could no longer update the fitment table in my existing listings. For years I have been changing the fitment by revising the listing and as of last week I can now only view the existing fitment without making any changes. eBay Merchant Support's answer was that some fields are no longer available for edits once a sale has occurred, but I have made many fitment edits to listings with sales on them prior to last week so I am not sure what changed. Their solution was to have me end the listings and relist it each time; not only is this more time consuming, but I lose my sale history on the item by taking this action.
I could not locate and existing thread about this so I am curious if anyone else is experiencing this. The ability to update the fitment (in many cases it is to add new year models) is an important tool for me and I am not sure how taking it away could benefit eBay.
One example:
eBay ID 123761924573
Attempting to remove some trim levels

I came here for the same reason. If I tried to revise of sell similar, not only could I not edit the fitment, but, that entire field was gone.
Hoping for the best, I went in and cleared all my browsing history, site permission, cookies, I selected everything.
When the browser was done, I closed it out and opened it back up. Not only is everything working just like it was before, but, now the images the customer sees when using more than 1 picture appear at the side of the main picture instead of below.
Maybe it was a update ?

Assuming you have like more than 1 quantity of a particular item listed......then I can do it on listings where there have been no purchases, yet.....but it will not let me edit compatibility on listings where there already has been a purchase. That makes me think it's be design that they changed this......

Yes, the cookies were the issue. I selected to delete them only and the ability to edit fitment was restored. It took me weeks going back and forth with eBay before they got me to someone who was able to test this and confirm that all ability of fitment edits should still be available so we went through troubleshooting and found the cookies were the issue.
Since this happened around the same time as the implementation of the fall seller update I am assuming it had something to do with that. I guess I will keep this in mind if I lose some functionality in the future.

Boy!! I called eBay two or three times about this. Simply told there was a system error. I sure don't want to erase all the cookies containing my authentication information at various sites. Always a pain to receive text, phone, or email codes. . . Thanks, eBay!!

Glad to see some of you have made contact with eBay, and, confirmed the error, will save me some time on the phone. Thanks !
This has now turned into a daily event for me. I cant even try to sell from a brand new form with no information at all carried over(relist, sell similar, revise). Everything loads except for the fitment section, it is now just blank, occasionally I will get the spinning icon that shows it attempting to load, but, it never loads.
I clear the cookies, and, boom, everything works perfect, I can close and reopen the browser, list that morning, again that afternoon, evening, but, come a brand new day and the problem appears again until I clear the cookies.
Well, off to clear the cookies. .. ...
NOW, after the last cookie refresh they have moved the "store search" back to where it was a long time ago........
