With all of the heated debates going on lately, I thought I would start a thread on a nice neutral topic.

What is the ugliest motorcycle ever to come out of a factory?

I agree with the guy who named the Honda "Rune" as the UGLIEST bike. Second is the new so-called "Triumph Rocket Three" (Triumph brand name, BSA model name.)
Third is any Harley "dresser" with ape-hanger handlebars, fringed handgrips and saddlebags, and a flag staff on its' rear end. Add the rider with a "do-rag,", finger-less "nose-picker" gloves, crotch-less leather
pants(chaps) and the Harley may advance to second- or first-place on my list.

I mean, the East German Trabent was one gawd-awful hideous car, and if they made any kind of motorcycle it would be just as baD......:^O

I don't know what the ugliest bike is but someone just found a Buco helmet in their attic that would probably go prefect with it. They even posted two photos.

Have you been looking in my shed again? I, too, have an '83 GL1100 that's "turd brown". Not my favorite color, but what I could afford at the time. Laughing with ya.

atsilaai - I'm still having a good ride on that ugly old beast. Just got some new spark units - item #330193634872 Most of the epoxy dripped outta my old ones and a rain storm last weekend had me down to 2 cylinders so I found this good seller to help correct the problem.

I don't think our vintage is that "wineberry" - more of a brown metallic. But as it ages, it get's looking pretty rat.

Maybe save yourself $1500 and check KLR650 - hard to beat the '08 with street treads. Of course, I dig singles over parallel twins.

Damn ugly - reminds me of KTM's.
