One nice thing about retirement is you can get out of bed any time of the day you like......
And once you get up you can take the rest of the day off.
Life is mean. When I was working, I hated getting up at 6AM to go to work.
Now I wake up at 5AM.
There is one bad thing about retirement......
Days seem longer when you don't have quitting time to look forward to.
I always thought I knew what I wanted to do once I retired.
Now I have to check with my doctor.......and my better half!
I am now free as a breeze........
With roughly the same income.
As a retiree I have no obligations or responsibilities.
I feel like a rainspout on a sunny day.....

My wife doesn't mind having me around the house all the time.
In fact, in my loose fitting shorts, sloppy holey T-shirt, floppy hat and old comfortable shoes, she'd rather I not be seen out in public.

Well here's to warmer weather where we might be in danger of seeing you out and about dressed like that!
It is trying to warm up here in spits and spats, though the other day the pool has a skim of ice on it!

That pool here would be a hockey rink 10 months out of the year.
In retirement you will find that you can't teach an old dog new tricks.
In fact, some of the old tricks become rather painful.
I've made my contributions to the business world.
Now I'm content to leave it to the younger folks to repair the damage.
Retirement is not for sissies.
Only us older folks are strong enough to endure it.
