One nice thing about retirement is you can get out of bed any time of the day you like......
And once you get up you can take the rest of the day off.
I went from being low man on the company hierarchy to being a full time husband.
It's actually a lateral move.......
Retirement: It's nice to get out of the rat race.
But you have to learn to live with less cheese.
There were so many things I wanted to do when I retired.
Trouble is I have either forgotten what they were or how to do them....
Doing nothing is so much fun I'm sorry I wasted so much time doing something.
Some folks love retirement and other hate it. The later are usually married to the retirees.
Retirement is when you finally get to do what you always wanted to do.....
Unless you're married.
Some day I will have to fix the toaster, the clock radio, the VCR.....but I keep putting it off.
I don't want to be the only thing around this house that is not working.
VCR? What's that....... 
(Well we still have a VCR too, though have not used it for some time, it is actually a combo DVD VCR, that will copy a tape to a disk.)

I go for a long walk every morning.
It reminds me of my old parking space at work.
Even though I'm retired now, the sun comes up every morning and sets every night.......
And I'm never awake to see either one of them.
Anyone who thinks that retirement is the "easy life" has never seen the amount of work that is waiting to be done around our house.
The good part of retirement is that you become your own boss.
However, the change in management may not be to your advantage.
