One nice thing about retirement is you can get out of bed any time of the day you like......
And once you get up you can take the rest of the day off.

I love retirement.
It would have been a nice way to spend my youth.

Retirement is fun. I go to the free library and always ask for the senior discount.

Retirement is being untroubled, carefree, and fun loving.
It's kind of like college days without the studies.

Retirement means I have a lot more time for my hobbies.
Christmas brought me the new Bar Mills Cundy Village kit. Check out the ad in the January MR for a picture of it. This should keep me busy for almost a year as it will be added to the front of the tree layout.
Meanwhile Christmas day saw both Kim and I come down with bronchitis. Just can't seem to get healthy this winter.
Here's hoping everyone has a healthy and prosperous New Year!

For the new year I made a resolution to not make any more new year's resolutions.
So far so good......

I don't know, I have never made a New Year's resolution, although I am sure most resolutions are harder to keep than no resolutions (aside from that one resolution.....)
Happy and healthier New Year,
Charles

I enjoy waking up and not having to go to work.
So I do it three or four times a day........

I accomplished everything I wanted to in my career before retiring.....
With the possible exception of learning how to use the office copier machine.

Retirement means that now you leave coffee cup rings on your own furniture.

My wife says she married me for better or worse.
When I was going to work, that was better, she adds.

In my retirement, I have a recliner that no one else ever uses.
Could be because I'm always in it myself.

My wife still serves me three square meals a day.
She says they match my personality since I retired.
