I started the GP60M build today, most of the cut down is done and I have done quite a bit of the cab customizing, I am doing this one slightly different to the first one, on the first I cut the front part of the walkway and tool boxes of the original frame and replaced them with the whole front section from an Atlas SD60 walkway, this time I'm leaving the walkway as is and modifying the cab sides to suit, it will give me the front tool box doors that are missing on the other one, I didn't even know they had the extra door until I found a really clear photo of the side,I'm not going to modify the other cab as it is nicely painted and staying that way, both engines will still have the headlights in the middle of the nose, I can't see the advantage of all the work needed to move them slightly to the left, if I was looking for brownie points I might but they are for my railroad and I am happy with how they look.
