Progress report #2

I locked the other thread. There is some good stuff in there that probably has been reposted in other threads. I'll check. In the meantime, here's another place to write. B-)

Re Progress report #2

Progress. What's that? Today we took down the Christmas tree and all the decorations. Also dismanteled the tree layout, even though I haven't finished the church that was supposed to go under the tree. It will be done with a couple of other buildings for next year. This morning I decided that I would shave off my moustache. Yep. I have a clean upper lip now. First time in 23 years. Well, I had to do something to mark the beginning of my 65th year. Kim played the Beatles song yesterday for me on the stereo...."Will you still need me, will you still feed me, when I'm 64?" God! 64! I'm catching up to you Jack! B-)

Lifes Journey is not to arrive safely at the grave,in a well preserved body, but rather, to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting, WOW!!!..., WHAT A RIDE!!

Five days after the nude upper lip appears and Miss Kimmers has ordered me to regrow the fuzz. Actually I'm glad to do it. My lip and nose were getting cold...... SmileyCentral.com

Re Progress report #2

I have been playing with Atlas RTS (aka WinRail) and recreating the Cumberland and Pennsylvania yards in Mount Savage, Maryland. This is for study to help me develop a good compromise that can be modeled. I think it is looking pretty good and makes extensive use of the transition curve function in RTS. I have posted it in my album. - http://groups.ebay.com/topic/Model-Railroading-Fun/Photo-Albums/Charles-Taz-Boyds/1600712163 Charles

Re Progress report #2

Just in case you guys forgot, when you look at a picture like Charles' new plan that is small, you can click on it and it will enlarge. This works very well with the new plan Charles. Do you really have enough room for that on your layout? B-) -- Edited by ginzokid at 01/18/2008 3:46 AM

As Pete said clicking on the picture usually brings up a larger version and you can also go to the bottom right of the screen where it states 100% and click on the downward pointing arrow and increase the size there too! Gene
