Dave,
I have not gotten to resin casting yet, so I don't know how good or bad. I have looked into it on occasion.
Thanks,
Charles

I'm the same way Charles. I have a metal mining dump truck kit that I want to cast and make a fleet.
Ordered a 3 pack of ethanol cars form MB Klein. Think it was the last set in stock.
Would like to get some Texas Utilities coal hoppers. Seen enuf of those in action on my vacation.

I caved in. Bought 6 Texas Utilitites coal hoppers. Should have held off for a month and then bought a 12 pack but what the heck.
Thoughts of revamping layout in basement heasn't left my brain.

My 3 pack of Soy Power Biodiesel tankcars arrived. As usual with the Athearn 30K gal tankcar series, stunning quality and detail. And great looking cars ,
Can't wait when they re-release another run of the PROCOR ethanol tankcars.

Received my 6 Fox Valley TXUX coal hoppers. (texas utilities)
Only if I was retired where I could spend endless hours modelling.

Yesterday I receive two more Bar Mills kits to build. Townline Tires and Curry's Mercantile.
I'm running out of room for structures, but just had to have these.
Just because.

Yea!! Got my custom WM F3A's nos. 51 and 52:
The were made by Intermountain under a special order from one of the train guys: Alex Postpischil. I believe Alex has more for anyone interested. These run nicely on my test tract, and look great.
All the best,
Charles

Very nice. N scale of course. DCC?
I just bought a Rivarossi Blue Ridge 2-6-6-6 in HO scale Virginian road #900. This is also known as an Allegheny on the C&O. It is DCC with sound. I also bought a dozen undecorated twin bay hoppers and an undec. caboose which I have just finished decaling for the Virginian. This train will run on the club layout. I should take a picture one day.

Pete,
Yes N Scale, but just DCC ready, I guess no DCC was saving money on the custom order. Sounds like you are getting ready for some nice coal drags at the club. I have some MT PRR twin bay hoppers on the way too.
Yes, pictuers please....
All the best,
Charles

What a beast. Think you still need another 100 or so hoppers Pete. Rename the layout to Conception Bay Virginian.

Went to Edmonton for the weekend. Found you the perfect loco Pete. I think it was Large scale... Shay with DCC and sound. The thing was a monster. # trucks with the verticle mounted side pistons? Only $850 yikes..

Large scale meaning live steam around the frozen back yard? I thought abut building one on the top of the fence at one point until I saw that the drifting snow went over the top of the four foot high fence by about two feet. Don't think a plow on the front of a Shay would clear that. Biggest stumbling block was the negative response from the CEO......as usual. She is such a miser!

Bought a kit from a seller in California. Seller would not ship internationally. I really hate you guys in the states that act like Canada is some third world backwoods Neanderthal infested country. So I had to have the package sent to my bro in CA and he will have to forward it to me. Just leaks me off!!!!
