Well that forking thing lasted 3 hrs. I pulled the damn thing out. I was getting lunch ready and ate a chip and the swallowing action would pull on the sensor (DUE TO ITS LOCATION) which would then tug on my nose where the tube was taped too. Such a weird/gross sensation. I wasn't comfortable all morning with this thing. i was trying to get to 6 pm and then see what kind of shape I was in. My throat is still sore. Dr had to try to go in both nostrils before getting it into succesfully on 3rd attempt. First 2 attempts line was getting as far as throat. This stuff is the size of the nylon cord you use on a weed trimmer so we're talkin like .080 inch Anyone use Evergreen plastic that is 40 thou thick (.040")? OOOOOWWWWW!!! done whining. stpuid monitor. size of a cd walkman and it doesn't play MP3s. :^O This was to record the PH level of my stomach acid or at least in my esphogus. -- Edited by dl85vette at 07/25/2007 1:50 PM

You deserve a medal for putting up with that for so long. When my Dr. put one of those BP monitors on me and it cranked up for the first time and nearly crushed my arm, off it came. Two minutes. I'm a whimp I guess, but it's my body and I want to be comfortable in it at all times. Dave, ask your Dr. to put it in his a.... B-)

Been hacking up phlegm since wednesday. One day my chest was so sore it was all I could do to catch the jumbo jar of peanut butter out of cupboard. hopefully it goes away. I have 3 days of work this week and then I am on leave for 10 days and few days to get my shit ready for middle east

Beyond irritation!!! I STABBED myself in the left hand....:O:O:O:O you know, the one that does all the finger work on the fret-board!?!?!;\ Right between the 1st and 2nd knuckle!!! And we have TWO gigs this week!!!!! Weds. and Sat! It has been a week, and it looks pretty good. I just hope I don't tear it open playing!!! Marc - The Mangler

Hacking is clearing up but slept lousy last night. back of tongue sore and hurt to swallow and there must have been a pissed off gland as the saliva factory was working overtime all night. -- Edited by dl85vette at 08/10/2007 8:45 AM

Had to send one of my BLI C-16 engines back to the factory. It isn't running right. Cuts out in the middle of a run and then restarts itself. $45 repair fee, but it will be worth it when I get it back. B-)

PIcked up a new laptop today. almost new.. it is a refurbished unit from Gateway that costed as much as a new one, But it is better than what's out there or same price as tis one is a Dual Core where the other ones on sale are the older Celerons so lets hope this thing lasts as it doesn't have a year warranty like rest. I might have een stupid to try the shop that I did as all warranty for this will have to be serviced by gateway who supposedly has a service center here. Anyhoo it is a 1.6Ghzwith 512Meg of ram and a DVD burner, 3USB ports,high speed and wireless Network card, 160 Gig harddrive. Had to call Shaw for help to get it on internet and now when I plugged desktop back in, it won't connect to net. Crap!! I'll call them tomorrow.

Sorted out the internet problem. Just unplugged power from modem, change internet cable to desktop and powered everything back up. Gotta upload pics this weekend..

The front end of the car sounds like the whole steering links are binding. They bang, grind and boing when I turn the steering wheel. I'm going to try to make it to the Ford shop Monday and hope the wheels don't fall off while I'm driving there. I don't have an appointment, so I'm going to have to do some fast talking about it being a safety measure and the car is not drivable. We know they don't have the parts so I will have to try to talk them into a rental car too. After all the money I have spent there you would think they will help. Maybe not though. Now here's the good news. Kim is finally convinced we need a new car, but we have to fix this one before we can sell it. Then once it is running again you all know damn well that she is going to say, well, do we really need a new car now that this one works again? Maybe we will get a new 2008 when they come out. Probably in the spring. Might as well run this one through the winter. I'll never win.
