Minor irritation. I waited a full month for the update to my NCE power pro, read the words carefully, and finally called Larry at NCE. He totally spaced my order but sent a new chip right away. Got it today and it is for the ProPower that Gene bought, the hand held starter system and not my Pro system. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! Called Larry at NCE and he was very apologetic about the whole thing. Good customer relations. Sent the replacement out right away. Problem now arises. He wants the ProPower chip back. I don't have a problem with that except that it will cost me over $10 to ship it back in a padded envelope since it will have to go as a package since it will not fit through the slot in Canada Post's plastic measuring guide for letter mail.
The chip cost me $15 US to begin with and now I will have to spend another $10+ to send the wrong one back. BTW, it cost him $0.83 to send it to me. Where is the justice? Should I ask him to repay me for the postage? I just wish that Canada and the US would agree on a reasonable postal system between the two countries. I'm tired of getting raped every time I want to send a letter or package to "our neighbors to the south". Horse hockey!
