I've got a bunch of them Barry, I'll be putting them up too. I also have a bunch of double stack container cars. The truck, gas, and ferry would cost me an arm and a leg, I'd have to sell the IROC to get there.:( CJ]:)

Irritations #2

had a leak on a crimp fitting that wasn't there until we were pulling on linesd trying to fix another leak on control valve. I removed a small section of pipe and recrimped. Let's hope it is good this time. Another gripe. 72 hours for the grout to fully cure beofre I can put the sealer on. Another few days before I can put the toilet back in. glad we have the half bath upstairs. 3rd one...my fingers all hurt at every knuckle except the main ones that join to the hand.

Don't put sealer on the grout, it is highly overrated. When you need to clean the grout later, the grout keeps the acid out, and the grout remains dirty. Trust me on this one Dave. CJ]:)

I thought the sealer was supposed to keep the dirt off the grout? That way it should be washable...no? A second berg is now in the bay. Smaller and more of a pyramid shape. Can't get a good picture of them though. The by's came yesterday top fix my fence. Now I have to paint the son of a sea cook again! That always really hurts my wrists. Coughed last night and threw the back out again. I have PT in about an hour. Maybe I'll be able to stand straight after that. TheBentFadda

Here I am at my favorite place to spend money. The exhaust system is making noises and the brakes they just fixed sound like one shoe is dragging all the time. B-)

Home again. They didn't have the part needed in stock. Have to order it from the US. It is the longest pipe in the exhaust system.....$403!!!!!!!! Yipes!!!!! Plus labor and tax. Double Yipes!!!!! And still Kimmers insists that this is cheaper than a new car. TheBrokeFadda

Kim sounds like ED when it comes to getting a new car! (even a newer used one!) Keep spending lots of money on all those repairs and you have a loan payment in my opinion! You just can't convince them! It makes no sense to me. You can't fight city hall, especially when city hall is your spouse! lol

Pete Try going to an exhaust specialist, they can bend a pipe to suite and it may be a whole lot cheaper, $403 in Australia is a complete exhaust for a big car, I think they are having a lend of you. Barry.....;)

I'm planning on a trip to Meineke tomorrow. No Midas here. There are a couple of local b'ys, but I'd rather go to a "known" place. Doesn't George Forman endorse Meineke? Having a "lend" of me? It feels more like a bend. You know, bend over. Ever meet him? Ben Dover? B-)

Don't dismiss local guys Pete. Sometimes they are the best, the service is more personal and they have more pride in their work. Back in the valley in N.S. there was a shop called Busboys (local hicks) and I heard nothing but praise for them. I went to Midas. ONCE. Down in FL and they tried F&&&&&g me over for my brakes. Wouldn't fix the small problem, they would only do entire brake package or leave. anyways, do what you feel is comfortable for you. Mechanics are like family doctors.

Forget Meineke. Had an 8AM appointment for an estimate. Guy wasn't open. Waited for half an hour and still no show. Fruge him! Went down the road and found "Minute Muffler". Total price estimate: parts, labor and taxes is $191. And FORD wants $403 just for the pipe? Of course the pipe is not in stock but will be here Monday or Tuesday from Moncton. Guess who is getting my business. B-)

Good job Dad! Don't always trust that Ford dealership. CJ]:) PS. Since you spend so much time at that Ford place, did you happen to check out those new Shelby's?;)
