I should take a picture of the red and white GT-40 on display while it is there. Would you believe that FORD has gone to tape to replicate the white stripes? How cheap! Can't they paint it like the original? And frankly, the car that is there is not a perfect tape job either. My '69 Z-28 at least had painted stripes. Oh, BTW, the owner of the dealership is the owner of the GT-40.......of course. B-)

Pete, Come on down to NC. We gots a special place out on the outer banks that is named Canadian Hole... Guess you fellers like it alot, cause there's always a bunch of out of country plates. The wind blows kinda steady on the outer banks, and as long as it is blowing in off the ocean, the little black beasts can't get close to you. You could continue your island life, and maybe even find another Ford dealer just like the one up there. Dave, I thought y'all had real toilets in Canada. There used to be a big black market for the old inefficient toilets that would evacuate the bowl with one 4 ltr flush, as opposed to the water efficient toilets that take three or four 1.5 ltr flushes... Ain't progress grand. Kevin

Kevin, very funny. My own little Ford dealer. I like it. Actually I have a second cousin in Pikeville. Know where that is? Also, my low flow terlet takes a minimum of two flushes too. Yeah. Progress. I'm tempted to chisel out that glued-in foam insert. B-)

That foam in the tank is to keep the tank from sweating isn't it?

In this case, Dave, it is so thick that I think it is meant to cut down on the volume of water so it can be called a low flow terlet. B-)

ather than semantics on plumbing, i found that if I hold the handle down thru the whole flush cycle it flushes better. Flushmaster D

You know Dave, I tried that. I also tried reflushing right after the water went down the drain the first time. If you listen, you can hear the water in the tank refilling as the first flush goes out to sea and you can catch at least a half full tank for another go. The results are good sometimes and not so good others. How in the heck did we get on to this shi**y subject anyway? My irritation today is the fact that is only reached No yield today. And after the past two days of hot weather. How do you expect any seeds to germinate in cold weather? I guess my meager planter garden will be a bust again this year. No more, I say. No more! No yield this year and never again will I bother to plant veggies while living here in God's forsaken country. You can't grown anything above ground in Newfoundland. Only root crops. B-)
