remove background option in pictures

I just found out there is a new option to remove the background and to refine a photo with the ebay app. However, this is NOT available for android users? Why?????!!!! There are alot of android users. Everyone is not a apple user. I called customer service who told me they have no idea when this will be available to android. 

Why is this not available? Why does Ebay not know when it will be available to android?

Thanks for the feedback and we are glad you are excited to get this on android. It should be coming very soon.

We try to release things at the same time for each phone platform, sometimes it is not possible and one might be a month or two behind.

Customer support is there to help with support issues and does not always know when things are coming out.

I have an new android (cheap Blu phone) and I discovered this feature last night.  It isn't available on my other two android cell (Samsung Galaxy 5) or tablet (about a year old).  It isn't available on computer thought.

I have a brand new LG 50 Thin Q on Verizon 5G and it still does not have the removal tool even though the EBay Upfront I attended last night 2/27/2020 said it would be released last night. When will it be available? Thanks.

That is correct that this is currently available in the apps. We are looking into expanding this.
