"Single list view" option missing on Android 11

On my Samsung Galaxy Tab S6, "list view" displays items in a single list. On the larger Tab S7 +, items are displayed side by side in a "double list view" format.

I have the same problem on my Huawei M5 -

Devices with higher dpi screens will only show a two-column list view.

Despite the larger screen, this makes it difficult to scan down a list of items.

Please provide an option to return to a single-column list view.
