latest iOS update makes me sign in every time I open the app

Just installed the latest update for iOS and the app is making me sign in every time I open up the app. I tried deleting and reinstalling it but the problem persists. This is making the app virtually unusable for someone who needs to constantly be on the app.

That's weird because I have the app on my ipad. And haven't had to sign in since installing the app on it.  My iPad is 8th generation.  I never installed the app on my IPhone.  
Is your device up to date?

Use a laptop or desktop until you figure it out.

If you have not already done so, try restarting your device in between the uninstalling and reinstalling the eBay app. That should ensure you have a clean install if the problem is related to a previous installation not installing correctly.

Otherwise, try using a mobile browser on your device to reach ebay.com instead of using the app if you are unable to stay signed in. Or just leave the app open, if that keeps you signed in.

You are not alone, same thing is happening to me too. Very annoying.
