Your iPhone 7 is outdated there is no more support for it or updates because Apple stopped updates for iPhone 7 in September 2022. So there is an obvious incompatibility issue with your iPhone and the app.

As mentioned @djb8n-64 , iPhone 7 is no longer supported by Apple, and current version of the eBay app is not compatible with the outdated phone and software. You'll have to use your phone's browser instead of the app, and even then you may experience technical difficulties at times.
