iPhone 7 suddenly will not allow me to revise an item and add pictures in the app

I have an iPhone 7 and three days ago when I go to revise an item to add photos it will not access my camera roll. If i try to use the camera instead, I just get a black screen and cannot take pictures. 

I tried updating my phone, uninstalling and reinstalling the app and checking my camera/app features to make sure the two are communicating. I am incredibly frustrated.

Oh and it's iOS 12 1.4  and the ebay app version is 5.29.1
