Get rid of the sort bar, right hand side.

Not needed.

Can’t switch off.

I’m having this same issue.  I missed out on several items because I couldn’t get to the buttons to increase my bid.

Can you please share a screen shot of what you are seeing that is blocking bids. Are you referring to the floating sort/filter button when you search? If so you can customize that under the search filter.
