iOS app upgrade, older versions no longer supported

If you have been notified to update your eBay app, here are the steps to take to get the latest version onto your device. You need to have iOS 14 or higher to get the latest version from the Apple App Store 

• Open the App Store app on your device 
• Search for eBay app in the App Store 
• Select ‘Update’ button next to the eBay app title

iOS 12 - If your device is running iOS 12 you might be able to install an older version from the App Store 

• Delete the ebay app from the device
• Open the app store app
• Tap account button
• Tap Purchased
• Scroll to the eBay app and tap the cloud and down arrow icon

If your device cannot be upgraded to iOS 12 you can use the Safari browser to access ebay.

Fix the update major issues trying to list items from the app on iOS.  Super frustrating

I have an iPhone using iOS 14.5.1 and an having issues with the app. I cannot select shipping options when listing because none appear, only the dimensions come up. Also I can’t edit other fields like handling time, etc etc

How can I stop these updates, as I have an older iPhone , the new version of the app is not compatible! I have to delete and download an older version of eBay app ,nearly every week , very soon will be deleting the app permanently ,should there be no solution !

Do you guys work of the interests of Iphone, or of your customers? 

Why you don't just leave an older versions to us, those who wont spend hundreds of dollars for pointless phones? And those who want to spend pointless money for a phone, to do it free will.

Of a year of worldwide crisis we have to take out how much? A 1000$ for a phone?

This is so disappointing that older operating systems cannot access the app.  Will limit eBay use and sales- not a wise move in the part of eBay.  Please make app accessible to older iOS versions.

So I went to list on the app. No go! I’ll just have to list my stuff on mercari! This is so frustrating. I have an iOS 7. What is wrong with you eBay. What the hell are you doing !

I’ve got ios 13.3.1 and I can’t update the app. Tried everything and I’m not deleting the app because otherwise I’m not gonna be able to install again I’m pretty sure. Why is this a problem if I have the right version?

Have iOS 12. Tapped cloud with down arrow . Would not fully load. Have a dark ebay icon which will not work.

I’m a long time Ebay user. Can’t believe you would do this. You screwed everyone who is still using an I phone 6

Those of us who have older iPhones are or were your customers. I guess you don’t want our business. 

Give us the availability of the older version, not some un-working solution from your “STAFF”

Running iOS 13.2.2 on iPhone SE and still won’t install the app. Just gives a dim icon, when tapped says loading then as soon as it gets to installing it gives up and goes dim again. The cycle repeats when tapped again. Tried restarting, uninstalling, logging out of App Store and logging back in. 

I’m on iOS 13.2.2 so it should work right? 

something else is going on here, can we please have someone at ebay look into this rather than giving the canned response that the minimum iOS version has to be 13?

Running 13.2.2 still won’t install, they say the minimum is iOS 13.

 Same problem as everyone else. icon goes dim. Tap > loading... > installing... gives up and goes dim again.
