iOS 17.1.2 update and now app won’t sign in

Updated eBay app and iOS to latest version and app was originally spaming pop up of sign in page even though the app was signed in , I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled but now won’t sign in at all just constant buffer wheel like it’s trying but just sits spinning

Glad someone else is having this issue and not just me, well, not glad but at least we’re not alone.

this has occurred on an iPhone 15 pro max with the official 17.1.2 release, still working on my older iPhone 12 Pro with 17.1.1 though

+1 I'm also experiencing the exact same issue. After upgrading my iPhone 14 to iOS 17.1.2 and updating the eBay app to latest version 6.137.0. I can't sign in, the login screen gets stuck and spins forever.

I contacted Ebay support and I was told the issue is related to my device lol

I hope someone from Ebay engineering team gets this report. There seems to be a compatibility issue with ebay app and latest iOS release.

Hi @radova32 and @mdb-1978 Ebay released a new app version 6.137.1 about 3 hours ago that addresses the login issues. I was able to sign into my account and enable face id. Consider updating your ebay app from iOS App Store at your earliest convenience. Cheers.

Just got back home, downloaded and yes indeed, this new version is working

I’m not having that issue on neither one of my apple devices (iPhone and iPad) and I’ve installed the latest updates on both.
