eBay update

I tried to get into my EBay app it says a 16 is required my iPhone is updated to the latest update 15.8 & still unable to get into my EBay

If your operating system does not support the latest version of the eBay app and you cannot update your operating system, it should still be possible to use a mobile browser to go to ebay.com or ebay.co.uk and use eBay that way.

If eBay browser links are opening in the app automatically, iOS users should be able to tap and hold an eBay browser link and select "don't open in the app" to prevent that from happening.

I’ve been having the same issue. I have a brand new iPad that has the right iOS and can update to iOS18 when it’s available. I hope eBay fixes this glitch because I can’t use my app.

If you have iOS 16 or later, try uninstalling the eBay app, restarting your iPad, then reinstalling the latest version of the eBay app from The App Store.

Thanks for reporting this. If your device has iOS 15 you should still be able to get a version of the app that will run on your device

1. Delete your ebay app
2. Go to the App Store, search for ebay
3. When you download it you will see this alert, tapping download should allow you to get a version that will run on your device.
