As with the many others on this group, eBay has stopped working, as had a couple of other apps. One other being the Daily Telegraph app. Please help.

It has stopped working on my new iPhone 11 as well. Worked great up until about an hour ago.

I have just performed these steps in exact sequence with no change. The EBAY app will not open. i see the splash screen and then it crashes.

what would be next steps to resolve this critical issue?

It looks like you are still on version 5.38. Please check for an upgrade as you should be running 5.39.0 which will should no longer lock up on launch.

The problem I am having is on my IPAD AIR 2. I cannot open the ebay app in order to find out what version I am on.
I can tell you that on my IPHONE6 I show version 5.39.0

Does that help at all?
