eBay app's Search, Notification, Selling won't work on iPhone7 when on cellular

EBay app's Search, Notification, Selling won't work on iPhone7 when on cellular. I am only getting a rotating loading icon even if the reception is a perfect 4 bars, and all other apps are working. Version no. of the eBay app is 5.19.0. Any ideas how to make it work.

Thanks for the report. Please update your app to the new version that will be released in the next 24 hours. It should load properly.

In the meantime if you toggle airplane mode on and then off it should load properly.

I'll update the app as soon as it is out in the coming hours.

Toggling airplane mode on and the off does not do the trick for me right now.

Just installed the update. The problem just got worse. Now, on the LTE network, i.e. no wifi, I am getting an error message that says:

Error

The internet connection appears to be offline. (-1009)
