eBay app not updated for iPhone 4

The ebay app on my phone now says to update to the latest version and won't let me use the app, the system requirements say I need iOS 10, but my iPhone 4 only goes up to iOS 7, so I think it's unfair that it's not being updated for older phones, as it is a basic app that should be able to run on any phone. Although the app won't update I don't see why it needs to stop me using it at all. It seems like companies are forcing people to upgrade their phones.

Thank you Ebay for that great answer that we figured out already. The question was why can't you get an app that will work with older versions of IOS. So instead of directing us to the web site why don't you fix the issue with your app so that all people can use it

If it ain't broke why try to fix it,had no problems with the old version,won't be buying a newer iphone just for eBay ,will just buy and sell less!!
