eBay app for iPad not working at all

I have the latest iPad Pro on the latest iOS version 11.3.1 and the eBay app keeps telling me to update but when I go to the App Store I ALREADY HAVE the latest version of the app 5.2.0.

this has been going on for months.

ive tried the links shared on the threads complaining about the same thing but they just take me to the App Store version I’ve already got and doesn’t work. Please help.

This sounds like you two copies of the app on your ipad. Can you search your ipad for ebay and see if two apps show up. If so, delete the older app and you will not get prompted to upgrade.
