eBay App Won't Download For IPad 9.3.5 Says Update To 10

I use eBay religiously and have for years, I have used one EBay App for years as it allows the user to set the default search , which makes it perfect for searching, eBay took this function away, so I did not update, recently EBay retired all EBay apps older than 5.0 , so forces you to update. But when I try to update it says you must update my iPad to 10 but 9.3.5 is the highest Apple crated for older gen iPads.

I have read many people having the same problem and the below link is provided

this link does not work it just says the same message, ie you must update to 10,

If your device cannot get onto iOS 10 we recommend you use the mobile website in your Safari browser.

That's great customer service, I have used eBay for 10 years plus, at xmas at one times I had the over a hundred items I was waiting on,  you retired older eBay apps that worked fine, then when the app won't update(where you guys are saying it should) you like, who cares just use the website, where you would be aware the website is not robust and struggles on safari and iPads in general. It's for sing me to explore other options I would never had entertained like Aliexpress, thanks for retiring older apps that worked well and not carring in the slightest that their is no replacement

Why didn't we all think of that, stupid us. Your a bloody joke, many other buy/sell apps give you a choice to download for the older generation iPads why not eBay? Customers always right eh unless your dealing with eBay. Safari is **bleep** for using eBay its sluggish and not as simple to use as the app. I for 1 will not be using safari to shop on eBay.

EBay controls the apps, they should STOP telling their customers to use the app if it won't work with older devices, this is nothing but a sick joke and waste of our time.

It's more than a joke its disgusting how can they treat customers like this , safari Ebay is a joke no good for people who have a challenge come on Ebay sort this out how can I download 10 when apple sat I'm iptodate on 9.3.5 what do you expect your customers to do and your answer was a insult to every customer you have NOT GOOD ENOUGH !!!!

I just got my iPad two back online with eBay. I loaded safari an proceeded fron there after getting it to work I chose to load on my main page...not a computer guy just use common since...but it's working fine...
