Did you already make a down payment using eBay gift cards? If so, I'm afraid it might be a scam and your money is gone. Be careful about how you proceed.

Fraud ! Stop communicating with "seller" immediately. eBay does not have listings for real estate. How are you going to ship it ? When you buy land always use a reputable real estate agent or buy it through a government or bank auction. Don't forget to use a title company.

As candd205 said, hopefully you haven't made any kind of payment, especially eBay gift cards. If so, it is 99.99% sure that you have been scammed. Run the other way as fast as you can.

My bad. I apoligize. eBay does have a real estate section. Still, use a title company. They will act as an intermediary and ensure you are conveyed a clear title.

I hope to goodness you haven't paud anyone any money yet, or sent any gift cards. This is not how eBay sales work and, further, real estate isn't sold on eBay. This is not an eBay transaction.
If you have already sent money or gift cards, you will never recover the loss. The ranch never existed. The people "selling" it are not in Colorado and probably not even in the United States.

Be sure you do a search for eBay gift card scams. Not saying it is one but you need to be aware that exists. And absolutely use a title company...don’t be talked out of that.
