Trying to list items on the app. Default weight is automatically added based on the description of the item. When I try to adjust to the actual weight, the cost of the shipping doesn't change with it.
For example, I am listing a book lot. The app added a default weight of 6 pounds, with Media Mail as the shipping. Cost is $5.69, which is the correct cost of Media Mail for this weight.
My actual lot is 8 pounds, which is $6.81. When I change the weight to 8 pounds, the app keeps the rate at $5.69.
I have changed it to 1 pound, to 40 pounds, and it stays at $5.69 every time. I tried saving as as draft then editing, same results. I've switched to priority mail, and it switches to the rate of a 6 pound priority rate. I change the weight with priority mail selected and still no change.
Also, I changed the weight to 4 oz to test, and first class mail did NOT appear in the options.
No matter what I do, the app is not recognizing that I am changing weights.
I've created other drafts to test, with the same results.
I am using a Samsung Galaxy s20 Plus, and Samsung Galaxy Tab A7. Both gave identical behavior.
