What's new in 5.29

We have released the new version 5.29.0. You should see it showing up for upgrade over the next 24 hours. 

• Messages will mark as read
• Messages will properly load
• Custom SKU entry for sellers
• Store Category support for sellers
• Improved active list with access to watchers and views
• App should now appear in the active apps list
• Fix for some LG devices that were not working properly.

Please update your devices to the latest Android OS and eBay app.

Thanks for the report. Are you getting an error in the app when you try to do any of these actions? Can you try signing out and signing back into the app.

You have created a new bug!!  Now, real time notifications do not work!!!!!!!!!!

 eBay wants us to use the app.  It already had plenty of issues with using it to relist unsold items, (changing the font in relists, removing the handling fee on shipping etc.).  Now, it serves no purpose whatsoever!  If I can't get real time notifications on android devices, I am tied to my desk if I want to be a Top Rated Seller.  I've tried to move my online listings to eBay, but there seems to be no point.   This glitch is an extremely serious one for me.  Without real time notifications, I'd be as successful trying to sell out of the trunk of my car at Wal-Mart.  

eBay Customer Service is NO help.  When I called, they changed MY settings in my account.  There is nothing wrong with my settings, either in my account, or on my devices.

Thanks for the report. Can you look into your device settings for Optimize Battery Usage and check the setting for the ebay app. This should give you the real time notifications.
