Updating eBay

 I can't get on my eBay account at all to try and sell anything I keep getting a message I need to update the app! I keep doing everything I'm supposed to in the App Store comic clicking update apps it specifically clicking on eBay but it keeps dumping me back to my home screen! 

 I want to be able to get into my eBay account so I can sell some things! 

Is anybody else having a similar problem? Does anybody know what I can do?

Have you tried removing the app?  Then restarting your phone then reinstalling the app?
