When I follow the process thru your email to “update” the eBay app there is no option to update, only to open?? I’d prefer an option to update, not delete the current app and re-download eBay for iPad in the Apple store.....losing my history. Help! Thanks, Jay Stanford (stanf33)
Same, here, I got the email, thought it was spam, but same thing in my messages folder, so tried to download, takes me to open, then takes me back to download, just keeps looping me around with nothing updated.
Thank you for the report. If you are on an iPad you might have two versions of the app installed. Search your ipad for eBay, if you see an icon that is slightly grey delete that app and continue with the app with the white icon.
I am using the white app and I had the same issue with updating. I’m also having a problem seeing my active sales on my iPad, it says I have none but when I go to my phone I see them.
It looks like you are on the latest version on your iPad. There should be no updating needed. If you had the app on other devices over the past year that might be why you got the email.
Every time I open the app on my iPad, I get a message that the app “will be retired soom”and tht I have to update. However, as far as I know, the app is regularly updated. How can I get rid of the message?
