About a week ago the app started to crash every time I tried looking at stuff to buy. It’s still doing it now. Even deleted and reinstalled the app and it still crashes when I try to look at anything. Is there a fix to this?

What operating system are you using?
According to a post on the UK community boards, the latest version of the eBay app requires Android 10 or later, or iOS 17 or later.
There is another version of the app available for iOS 16 users; see here:

A possible workaround for iOS 15 users is suggested here:

If you cannot upgrade your operating system or find an older version of the app that works with your current operating system, you should still be able to use a browser to go to ebay.com instead.
If eBay browser links are opening in the Android version of the app automatically, you can disable that by going to your device Settings: Apps: eBay: Open by default: Opens supported links and choosing "Don't open in the app". iOS users can tap and hold an eBay browser link and choose "Don't open in the app". Or just delete the eBay app entirely.

In that case, if you have not already done so, try uninstalling the eBay app, restarting your phone, then installing the latest version from the App Store. The restart in between should ensure a clean install.
Or else use a browser instead of the app, and try the app again later.
