Hi! I've been unable to login to your Android app for a while now. Using the latest version and I'm using correct username and password and im getting the message 'invalid request'. I've tried to request for a new password to be sent by sending a forgot password request to Ebay but im also getting message 'Sorry, we're having technical difficulties, please try later' but I've been trying that for days now. I've tried deleting and reinstalling the app and also clearing cache and data but still not fixing the problem. Any suggestions?

Do you have the latest versions of Google Play Services (18.3.81) and Google Play Store (15.4.34)?

After trying that, try uninstalling the eBay app, restarting your phone, and then installing the eBay app again.

Hi! Sorry for late reply. Your email had been sent to my spam folder. I've updated Playstore and play services to the latest versions that you have quoted, uninstalled ebay and rebooted my phone and reinstalled the app but still the same message when trying to log in. Not sure if it has something to do with the phone. Its a Chinese branded phone that I've just got (Xiaomi) and came with Chinese/English rom and I had to sideload google play services and Playstore onto the phone as they didn't come preloaded.

Please try uninstalling the current version and then installing again via the play store.

Hello,
after I did a hard reset of my phone I have the same problem. Its also a Xiaomi phone english/chinese version. I have done all the things suggested and I still have the same problem as @alistairm8122.
Before the hard reset I could use the app normally.
I uninstalled the app and downloaded the last version. The same problem accured.

Are you using a custom rom?

You can try another internet connection. Or you can delete the current version and reinstall. If it still doesn't work, you'll have to wait for the next version of the app to update.
