Trying to download

I’ve been using EBay for decades, now because of this latest upgrade I’m unable to because it will only work on IOS 17, and my IPad Air 2 states I’m all up to date as of IOS 15.8. Way to go Apple and EBay, conspiracy to force us to buy more up to date products!?!

According to a post on the UK community boards, the latest version of the eBay app requires Android 10 or later, or iOS 17 or later.

If you cannot upgrade your operating system or find an older version of the app that works with your current operating system, you should still be able to use a browser to go to ebay.co.uk instead.

If eBay browser links are opening in the Android version of the app automatically, you can disable that by going to your device Settings: Apps: eBay: Open by default: Opens supported links and choosing "Don't open in the app". iOS users can tap and hold an eBay browser link and choose "Don't open in the app".
