Someone tried to use my account. I was notified so all is good except I can’t remove the crook’s address from my account.

Use a desktop browser to check all your account info including addresses and phone numbers and to change your password and secret question.

Change your email password, and consider unlinking  Facebook, Google or Apple -- any of those could be used to get into your eBay account. Check your PayPal account as well.
