@callichoa

If you have either Facebook or Google accounts linked to your eBay account, consider un-linking them, and then changing those passwords as well. You can check if either of those is linked on your Account: Personal Information page.

Recently one poster indicated that changing his eBay password was not enough to keep another user from signing in to his account using a linked Google or Facebook account that had been left signed-in on the user's machine.

Re: Sign out of all devices

Wrong.

Changing your password and activating 2FA does not sign out of all devices.

In the next few hours a Chinese hacker still had access to my account trying to buy stupid DIY wall sticker fake listings.

I had to lock my account. To stop further unauthorised purchases.

Re: Sign out of all devices

The "accepted solution" of this question is not a solution at all.

Signing out of your devices does not sign out devices that you have no access to.

Initiating 2-step does not sign out devices that you have no access to.

Changing password does not sign out devices that you have no access to.

No one at ebay seems to care about this dangerous breach of security!

I have called ebay several times, gone through all the "solutions" several times over several months, changed my password several times, done 2step on all my devices, and still have someone signed in to my account from a device that I have no access to.

And yet, ebay constantly signs me out of my OWN devices, just not the one that has no authority to use my account. This is outrageous.

Re: Sign out of all devices

Ebay continues to insist that when I changed my password, I would be signed out of any previous devices.  I am currently signed in on a computer on the West Coast that I used last year.  The person whose device stays logged in with my ID can still access my account all the way to the payment page, with payment options.  I have called several times and still receive the same erroneous information.  He has tried to log me out, but has not be able to.  He cannot create his own account because it defaults to mine.  This is something Ebay claims is not happening but nonetheless is.  I will be deleting my account.

Re: Sign out of all devices

Did you sign in to that account on the west coast using a Facebook, Google or Apple account? If so, and that user is still logged in to any of those accounts, that would bypass your changed eBay password. You can try unlinking those accounts from your end if that is the case.

That user should be able to sign out of that eBay account in that browser directly. Also possible to sign out by deleting ebay.com cookies from the browser. Deleting any Facebook, Google or Apple cookies should prevent that user from signing in using your accounts on those sites.
