Re: Selling

There's usually no reason or need to create an invoice unless you are adjusting shipping for a buyer who has purchased more than one item or are upgrading shipping at the request of the buyer.

The usual scenario is buyer buys, buyer sees invoice, buyer pays invoice.

Re: Selling

@soh.maryl is right about the invoice. The only time you would need one is if you need to make any changes to payment, shipping, etc. Ebay will automatically send an invoice to the buyer letting them know they need to pay, so usually there's nothing needed on your end.

Here's how to make an invoice if you need to, I quoted this from an ebay article:

  1. Find the item:
    • In Seller Hub, select Orders
    • In My eBay, select Sold
  2. From Actions, select Send invoice.
  3. Make any necessary changes (to shipping charges, payment methods, etc.).
  4. Select Send invoice.
I am not an eBay employee but I sure feel like one sometimes
